A driveline of massive spur gears with up to 66 teeth transfers the main drive power all the way down to the very last disc. The large-diameter gears rotate at reduced speeds, with a higher number of teeth meshing with the neighboring gearwheels for even quieter running, ultimate efficiency and maximum longevity. The auxiliary gears drive one disc each and as a result are exposed to only minimum loading. The discs are arranged in a very forward position, which leads to substantial blade overlap and perfect cuts. Excellent guidance: The large contact area provides excellent guidance and adaptation to ground contours, even in difficult terrain. The low ground pressure makes floating even easier without scuffing and maintaining cutting height even better. Wedge-shaped and fully welded cutterbar: This photo shows EasyCut 28 M without flexible guards. As you can see, M series front mowers, too, feature the wedge-shaped and fully welded cutterbar, which suspends behind the hats – an ideal design to ensure a uniform crop flow. Quick-change blades are standard specification. The side curtains fold up to reduce transport width to 2.57 m (8’5″) on EasyCut 28 M and to 3.00 m (9’10”) on EasyCut 32 M.
